MISSION STATEMENT

GATE KĪ is an indigenous, women-owned music company based in Honolulu, Hawai’i, operating globally and proudly providing live entertainment, artist management, event productions, and studio recordings.

OUR NAME

The name GATE KĪ was chosen to reflect our love of travel and the new opportunities that arise when entering the airline's departure “gate. " The word “kī” is Japanese for tree, symbolizing growth and the ever-changing seasons of art and life.

Quinn A. Miyashiro is a versatile music professional, blending her talents as a vocalist, producer, artist manager, and booking coordinator. As CEO of GATE KĪ, Quinn plays a vital role in supporting and elevating artists across the Hawaiian Islands and beyond.
Her vocal artistry in Pop, R&B, and Reggae has been showcased both live and in the studio. Beyond the mic, Quinn’s expertise extends to music show production, recording coordination, and artist development, ensuring that both live and studio performances meet the highest standards. Her keen ear for detail and deep understanding of the industry allow her to seamlessly bridge the creative and business aspects of the music industry.
With a passion for fostering artist success, Quinn is actively involved in artist management and booking, helping musicians navigate their careers while securing opportunities that align with their vision. Whether behind the scenes or in the studio, her dedication to music shines through in every project team she joins.

Jenn "JRoQ" Wright

Chief Creative Officer, Co-Owner

Jenn “JRoQ” Wright is an Oʻahu-born singer, songwriter, musician, and Emmy-nominated music director with deep roots in Hawai‘i’s music industry. With a passion for rhythm, she honed her skills across drums, percussion, guitar, and vocals, transforming her early love for music into a dynamic career. She first gained recognition with her band, Kanalo, before exploring hip-hop and blues influences in her solo project, JRoQ vs. Dr. Trey. As part of the acoustic duo Simple Souls, she helped shape Hawai‘i’s growing R&B and pop scene, eventually expanding into artist development, booking, and management.

She is the co-founder of Gate Kī (LiveMusicVerse.com), a music production and artist development company dedicated to elevating local talent. Still an active musician, JRoQ continues to secure major music placements and play a key role in bringing Hawai‘i’s music to the world. Whether on stage, in the studio, or supporting artists behind the scenes, her dedication to the art of music resonates in everything she does.
