Pono Kaeo was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i and currently resides in Central O’ahu.  He has been playing ukulele for 10+ years.  Endorsed by Lanikai Ukuleles since 2018, his instrument of choice is the baritone ukulele.  He has played tenor ukulele since childhood, but once he heard the baritone ukulele he truly fell in love with it.   He loves its likeness to a guitar, while staying true to its classic ukulele tone and warm sound. Pono enjoys playing a variety of covers/renditions of songs in the style of Reggae, Island, Hip-hop, Pop and R&B.  His song choices include Top 40 Hits from the 90’s, 2000’s and now! You can find him capturing listeners of all ages with his smooth vocals and ukulele with looper pedals.
